wolf was established in 2001, when someone we love was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). In a single routine trip to the doctor –in an instant– our lives were changed forever.
    You never think it could happen to you, but the statistics are frightening. Every year, one in a thousand children under the age of nineteen will be diagnosed with leukemia. In 1962 the survival rate for leukemia was less than 5%; today it has risen to 80%.
    We established the WOLF Foundation because it happened to us. Our mission is to raise money specifically for pediatric leukemia research. Since our inception in 2001, we have held four golf outings and a few smaller fundraisers that have raised over $1,000,000. We have started up a pediatric leukemia research department at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and funded two research projects through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
    When we formed the WOLF Foundation, we never dreamed we could actually make a difference. It is because of people like you, that we have been able to make this dream possible. Thank you for joining us in our quest for a 100% cure rate so children and their families will never have to endure the physical and emotional pain of this disease.
